[JOAN] I love to play charades. It's a kind of party game. It's very easy.

[JAKE] If you destroy an alien spaceship, you get points. If they destroy you, you lose the game. It's that easy.

Grammar

1. ‘have to’ and ‘be allowed to’

使用have to +动词表示某人不得不做某事。

If you get a card, you also have to give a card.
You have to destroy the aliens before they destroy you.

使用be allowed to + 动词表示某人被允许做某事。

The rules say he’s allowed to roll again.
Am I allowed to speak?

2. Explaining a game

解释某种东西有许多方法。
你能使用a kind of进行分类。

Checkers is a kind of board game.
King of the Mountain is a kind of power game for kids.

你能使用for example 提供一个例子。

You have to use gestures. For example, make a circle with your fingers.
You have to match the cards. For example, this red card goes with that red card.

你也可以使用if或者when来指一个特别的动作或者事件。

If you fall, you lose your turn.
When all you pieces are in the home space, you win.

注意： 人们一般都用代词you来发出指令， 指任何必须遵守规则的人。
