Instructions

1 Launch Remote Desktop and connect to your remote computer. For more information on how to do this, see the Resources section.

2 In the Remote Desktop window, click the "Start" button and select the following menus: "Accessories," "Communication" and "Remote Desktop Connection." Clicking "Remote Desktop Connection" will bring up a new dialog box.
 
3 Click the "Options" button to bring up another dialog box. Click the "Local Resources" tab in this dialog box.

4 Click the "Disk Drives" checkbox and then click "Connect." This will give you access to all the files and folders on the remote computer's hard drive.

5 Open Windows Explorer. You will see the remote computer's disk drives, along with your own computer's. You may now copy files back and forth between the drives by dragging and dropping, or by using the copy/paste function.
