GOD like 64 ------ Tomcat in 64bit

as apache didnt offer any 64bit yet. to set up tomcat in my win7 takes a time.

1. download tomcat 6.0 in zip 
   1. http://tomcat.apache.org/download-60.cgi
   2. http://ftp.heanet.ie/mirrors/www.apache.org/dist/tomcat/tomcat-6/v6.0.20/bin/apache-tomcat-6.0.20.zip
   3. trust me, do not use the windows installer, its 32bit.
2. unzip as usual, d:/tomcat_6.0
3. now change d:/tomcat_6.0/bin/tomcat6.exe and tomcat6w.exe to 64bit version
   1. http://svn.apache.org/viewvc/tomcat/tc6.0.x/tags/TOMCAT_6_0_16/res/procrun/.
   2. you should use the AMD64 version, never see anyone using IA64 around me.
   3. just download both and put in the folder cover the old one.
4. go start-accessories-cmd, right click-run as admin
   1. d: --- cd tomcat_6.0 ---cd bin
   2. service.bat install tomcat6
   3. wait till successful
5. Run tomcat service
   
   1. win+r --- cmd --- services.msc --- apache tomcat xxxxx --- run
6. go tomcat_6.0 folder --- bin --- right click tomcat6w.exe --- run as admin
7. normal set up and start server
8. test
   1. web browser
   2. localhost:8080
9. DONE!

*make sure you have the 64 bit java JRE installed and JAVA_HOME set up in enviourment varibles.
