At present,I’m doubting whether the English I have learnt in class is native or not.

Last week,I went to London.I arrived at the station late in the afternoon on Monday.The station is big,black and dark.

For I didn’t know the way to the hotel, I asked a nearest porter.I not only spoke in English very carefully,but very clearly as well.But the porter couldn’t understand it.Even I reapted it very slowly.Several times later,he understood me and answer quickly but not clearly.The problem was that I couldn’t understand him either.Having known that,he spoke slowly then and I understood him.I told him I am a foreigner.He said that I would soon learn English.

I wonder that if the English speak different kinds of languages.I even understand it little.

Am I right?
