今天接着之前进行了全局最小CU分块,来看进行CU分块的xCompressCU函数。

xCompressCU主要作用是完成块划分,确定最优预测模式。主要可以分为:
1.帧间预测xCheckRDCostInter、xCheckRDCostMerge2Nx2N
2.帧内预测xCheckRDCostIntra
3.PCM模式xCheckIntraPCM
这里PCM模式是一种无损编码模式,该模式下编码器不进行预测和变换操作,直接传输CU的像素值,因此其失真为0,HM中默认是关闭的。看函数名称貌似也算是帧内预测模式,在万、杨的《新一代高效视频编码H.265/HEVC:原理、标准与实现》书中没有将PCM归为帧内预测模式,将其作为一种特殊编码模式,单独进行了介绍。

xCompressCU通过自调用尝试各种划分情况和预测模式,并通过率失真优化选出最优模式。最后将划分后小块的率失真代价之和与未划分的大块比较,决定是否进行划分。

我主要看的是帧间部分,帧内和QP只是粗略的看了下。下面来看xCompressCU中帧间模式的划分。

其中除skip模式中更新Merge模式代价使用xCheckRDCostMerge2Nx2N,其他的每个模式都会调用xCheckRDCostInter来计算代价并比较确定最优模式。
