Design pattern -- the nature Chinese language characters creating
--rethinking about thecomprehensive meaning of design pattern 

 

Abstract: It is confirmed and verified that there is the design pattern in any language which has a writing symbolized sign-system. Also, a special design pattern is determined by the people who would express the concrete meaning by symbolized signs. The form or choice of a created single character which also reflects the nature and perspective of the human mind which is influenced by many factors. So, the final result of the invention is the decision in terms of much considerations. And the invisible design pattern is the consideration which the designers choose and the pattern tell the nature of the designers which are very different with others. So, the question is how to mine, describe and represent these invisible design patterns. More especially, a Chinese character is a production of a design pattern which is token repeatedly by other characters, also there are elemental design patterns that derives other patterns. The nature of those invisible, abstract, elemental and conscious design patterns is relationship. 


Facing the complicated world, to get the abstract concepts of objects, human has to adapt and obtain the capability of abstracting then represent them concretely for long-term reading, signifying and communicating.  


No matter what relationship exits among different objects, the basic also extreme is the one that exits between the pair about two opposite, such as ugly and beautiful, abstract and concrete. Lots of other relationships derive from such basic one.   

 

It seems that this pattern is the law of of the unity of opposite and the language can model the basic relationship that is the pair about two opposite concepts and the relative ones.

 

If the universe was an abstract pattern, then every language that would try to build a new world must take and perform this pattern. And human mind can also think along with this abstract pattern.

The nature of pattern is relationship, it is invisible, abstract and to-be implemented structure.

Also, no matter what nature language or formal language was, it must link the meaning of concepts, the abstract and invisible pattern, with visible and symbolized-signs to show the meaning of concepts. The approaches or forms are different in terms of different languages’ characters. Especially, the Chinese characters show or describe the concepts in a more formal way contrasted with other phonograph languages. That means all most Chinese characters show and describe the meaning in pictograph visibly and formally.

For the Chinese characters, every character is a little software designed via a kind design pattern. Interestingly, the inventor of these characters is an OOP programmer who uses the design patterns--a kind of relationship--to produce little piece software to be reused as a library. Then other programmers would reuse these elements to build and write their programs, that is using the words invented to express the unique meaning and write the essay. However, a little difference between using words and reusing software is that the design patterns in software can be reused for coding new software whereas reinventing new words by character design patterns is unnecessary.  

 

 

 

Q:  In an OOP language, the built-in types are the basic elements to build bigger blocks and the user-defined abstract data types.

 

 

 

 

Q: Facing abstract and invisible objects, relationship, nature language is not the proper system to demonstrate these abstract. Formal language is the best approach to deal with the abstract!
