XIP - eXecute In Place

　eXecute In Place，即芯片内执行，指应用程序可以直接在flash闪存内运行，不必再把代码读到系统RAM中。flash内执行是指nor flash 不需要初始化，可以直接在flash内执行代码。但往往只执行部分代码，比如初始化RAM.

　　简介 　　

    XIP就是WINCE XIP KERNEL，是CE核心部分，XIP是为eXecute In Place的缩写，在微软的CE定义中，这块区域存放的是以非压缩格式存放，不需加载，由Bootloader直接调用执行。 　　

    ROM部分包含：IPL、SPL、OS、EXTROM、RADIO、STORAGE等，现在我们刷入的ROM绝大多数只包含OS部分，OS组件包含：XIP SYS OEM软件包核心组件及驱动。

 

实例说明

　　单看上面的比较抽象，下面举个论坛实例说明一下： 　　xip是我移植刚上市不久的微软系统的机型的ROM来给我们的838机用的！就好比wm5到 wm6！我们838是没有官方的wm6和wm6.1！都是要靠高手们移植才有的！如我刚发放的19960和19591的xip那个是钻石品牌的机型 ROM！20262的是X1什么牌子的机我也不清楚!其实移植不光是移xip还要移植sys才是完美的ROm移植！但Sys是每个微软手机都是通用的！但 现在很多ROM的sys不是sp机的核心就是V屏ROM如把这些移到PPC的Q屏上都很不稳定！所以现在流行杂交！什么是杂交？杂交的意思是说！xip我 用20262，sys我用19949！这样就是杂交了！一个完整的核心包是xip和sys都要一样的！我们可在手机打开关于在里面操作系统显示的 (5.2.20262)这个就是xip,内部版本显示的是(20262)，如这两个显示不一致的话！那就是杂交的！(除了自己会HEX除，也就是自己修改 内核号！但这个很少人会)！那杂交后有什么好坏处呢？其实杂交有很多处的你可以找个比较稳定的刷机包直接导入xip！导入后刷到手机里！你就会发现刷机包 全部都没改变就在关于里的操作系统号变了而已！但速度和省电就有处不同的！这个不好说！但一般杂交的包都是很快的！但有些包没杂交前基本不会睡死！杂交后 有可能会睡死而且自带工具打不开！但这些问题很少会发生的！就写到这了。不知道大家看的懂吗？
