生物活性：Finasteride (MK-906) 是一种有效的竞争性 5α-还原酶 抑制剂，对 II 型 5α-还原酶的 IC50 为 4.2 nM .非那雄胺对 II 型 5α-还原酶的亲和力比对 I 型酶的亲和力高约 100 倍。非那雄胺可用于良性前列腺增生症（BPH）和雄激素性脱发的研究[1][2][3]。 IC50 和目标：IC50：4.2 nM（II 型 5α-还原酶）[1]

体外：非那雄胺（10 μM；6-24 小时）诱导 PC-3 细胞中 HO-1 和 Nrf2 蛋白的表达[2]。
非那雄胺降低 [3 H]睾酮 (T) 到 P 中的 [3H] 二氢睾酮 (DHT)。甲壳动物[1]。

体内：非那雄胺（0.1-0.5 mg/kg；每天口服一次，持续 16 周）可减小 BPH 犬的前列腺大小，而不会对精液质量或血清睾酮浓度产生不利影响[3]。
