The interests of my reseach are within (i)the theorems and applications of deep learning, and (ii) data science relating to machine learning, optimization and statistical models and algorithms. As to (i), I focus on developing theorems and applications of deep learning for designing and analyzing all kinds of algorithms. We also apply computational methods to relevant applications . As to (ii), we focus on developing powerful group sparse models and algorithms for resolving big data. Particularly, we have strong interests in developing joint group sparsemodels for regression data. We also curious about the underlying relationship between group sparse deep learning and pruning skill.
