Are We More Connected or More Alone?

 Along with the science and technology swift development and people living quality enhancement, great changes have taken place in people's way of lifestyle. Recently, there is a topic of "Are We More Connected or Alone?" in the public's vision, which stimulated wide concern in society.

In reaction to the topic has been mentioned above, there are an army of different perspectives. Quite a few people believe that we are more connected than ever before. There are some reasons as follows. First of all, with the popularity of Internet, we can communicate with our friends more rapidly and quickly. What's more, we can share our happiness with all kinds of social software, which shorts the psychical distance between us and our friends. In the second place, convenient transportation has brought us great convenience, which reduces the amount of time we spend on visiting friends and increase our chances of meeting them. Other individuals' views are exactly the opposite, they claim that people can ignore real exchanges due to they are keen to contact the network, which cause they actually in one place but two places are concerned.

From my perspective, I fully support the former view, this is as to social development is diversified, it is the convenience of the Internet and transportation that we shorten the psychical and physical distance, which makes us more connected. What I want to emphasize is that we should have appropriate the grasp of the scale of the use of the Internet. Only in this way, can we establish a closer network of relationship and a more harmonious society.
