安装成功显卡驱动后

然后执行

lsmod | grep nvidia

发现没有输出，那就是安装的驱动还没有挂载。
然后手动挂载：

sudo modprobe nvidia

最后可以输入

nvidia-smi

就有正确的输出了。

注：如果在上述报错中，log文件中的错误是：You are building kernel with non-retpoline compiler, please update your compiler。发现系统中还存在另一个内核版本是5.15.0-105(我猜想这个应该是我重启之前的版本)。因为ubuntu重启后更新了内核，故在上述方法行不通后，我就考虑将当前更新的内核版本降级，查看当前内核版本。出现上述错误应该是ubuntu重启时更新了内核导致内核版本和驱动版本不匹配导致的。

显示为6.2.0-32-generic。因为之前安装nvidia驱动时记下了当时的内核版本为5.19.0-41-generic。所以可以确定确实是因为内核版本更新导致不匹配的问题。发现显卡驱动版本为：nvidia-525.105.17。（显卡驱动是存在的，只是内核驱动版本自动更新了，导致和安装的显卡驱动版本不一致，所以报错。4）再次输入nvidia-smi，可以看到显卡显示成功啦！给出的解决方法基本都是：重新安装驱动。1）用台式机GPU跑代码，突然发现。看显卡情况，确实也无法显示，

看到网上关于这个问题的解决方案很多，其实不用那么复杂。报错的原因是因为重启服务器后，Ubuntu内核升级导致nvidia driver的版本不匹配，重新安装适合当前版本的驱动就行了。网上普遍采用的办法是。这条命令会自动安装所有硬件驱动。安装完成后，ll /usr/src/|grep nvidia，可以看到多了一条记录，然后就可以愉快的执行。问题来源：使用好好的ubuntu 服务器，重启后，nvidia-smi 不可用了，报错。
