No,I have to turn it in in the morning.
What’s it about?
I’m writing an article on the feelings about graduation.
And,how do you feel?
Me?a little scared and excited,too.
I felt the same way.
The scary patr’s leaving home and moving to college.
Oh,leaving home is part of growing up.

场景2：谈理想
My father would like me to go there.He and my grandpa both went there.
Great medical school,too.
I know.
You can follow in your father’s footsteps.
Ah!I’d like to follow in my own footsteps,Mike.
What do you want to study?
I’ve been thinking.

Anything special you want to talk about?
There is,dad.
I’m listening.
Well,I know you and Mom have given up a lot to save money for my college tuition.
We want you to go to college,Robbie.
I know,I do.
Well,I’ve thought a lot about which college,and one of them is Columbia University.
Columbia,why Columbia?
First,they have an excellent School of Journalism.
They do.

It won’t sound like a big deal,but it is.I had dinner with him Saturday and he’s unhappy about not working.
I thought he was retired and pleased to be living with the family.
He is,but there’s so much energy and talent in the man,and he doesn’t get to use it.（有机会做某事）
But what can I do?What kind of advice are you looking for?

场景3：建议(顺着对方的话说)
Simply this,John Marchetta runs this company.
He founded this company.
Right.John Marchetta gave my start here six years ago,when I first graduated from college.（一种状态刚开始的时候）
He gave me the chance to use my talents and made me feel more confident.
Right,maybe he can do the same thing for your grandfather.
Or at least give him some advice.
Right.Then I’ve solved your problem.

Better than that.Tell him,Philip.
I just spoke with Charley Rafer.
Who’s Charley Rafer?
He’s the Dean of Admissions for the University of Michigan.
And it turns out that he’s a classmate of Philip’s.
We were both on the tennis team.
Great!
It is great.

场景2：三思而后行
It doesn’t mean that you’re going to Michigan.
It doesn’t mean you have to be a doctor.But the interview will be good experience for you.
In that case,it’s OK.Dad,growing up means making my own decisions,doesn’t it?
You’re right,Robbie.But,like your Grandpa suggested,have the interview.And then make your own decision.
That sounds fine.

场景3：被面试
I had an interview today,too.I had a great interview with Admissions at Columbia University.
Really?What did they say,will you get into the school?
Well,they didn’t say anything for sure.But I figure that with my grades and personality,I’ll have no problem.
Columbia’s a terrific school.

She’s going to a fashion show here in the city tomorrow.
She is sleeping here so she won’t have to travel from Riverdale in the morning.

2019/10/6 Fleabag’s life is just um,a little tough,but she’ll like it.She and her stepmother act very well,just like someone in my life.

I’m sorry I’m so late.I had a really bad day.

场景3：夸夸夸
Do you think the skirt length is right,Ellen?Do you think it’s too long?
I think the skirt legth is just right.Are you planning to attach a train to it?
No,no train.Just the dress.But I am going to make a headpiece of lace.
That dress is gorgeous.

The advanced class is nonstop.

I can barely move.

Thank you for your reassurance,Dr. stewart.He’s had so many colds and sore throats recently.

You’re late.The production department’s waiting in the conference room.
I know.Ask Paul Smith to fill in for me.He knows everything about the production schedule,and he can answer any questions.
