NR5G Resource Grid

There are three basic concepts for Resource Grid.

1. Resource Element

Resource element consists of one subcarrier in frequency domain and one OFDM symbol in time domain which is the smallest unit in resource grid.

2. Resource Block

In NR, a resource block is defined as 12(N_RB_sc) consecutive subcarrier in the frequency domain. It looks like no bussiness with time domain.

3. Resource Grid

One resource grid is generally used for one antenna port and numerology.
