祝贺敏捷中国2009胜利召开——[转]老大的邮件

Greetings,

I am glad to report that the Agile China 2009 conference was successfully hosted by ThoughtWorks over last weekend (September 11 and 12).

This is the fourth annual Agile conference we have hosted in China. A few things to notice of this year's conference. 

- Although this is the first time we started charging a fee for ticket, the 400-seat capacity was still filled up quickly.

- Compared with previous years, the focus of the conference has changed from "why" Agile, to mostly "how" to practice Agile.

- Most speakers were from local companies (including our clients) who have practiced Agile and got some experience and case studies to share - as a comparison, 100% of the speakers were from TW in the first Agile China conference in 2006.

- Kent Beck and Dave Thomas are keynote speakers.

- We partnered with InfoQ to host this year's conference to increase the exposure and get support on marketing.

Many thanks to the team who dedicated a huge amount of effort (at their spare time) to make this an successful event - Bai Yu, Li Mo, Li Jian, Xiao Ran, Jia Yongna, Soo Yusiew, Li Zhihai, Wang Yuheng, Qiao Liang, Xia Jie, Xiao Peng, Yu Xiaoqiang, Li Yanhui, Zhang Xiaoqing, Sun Long, Rong Hao,  Wu Ying, Xu Yao, Jiao Hongyun, Liu Haiyan and many others.
