How to achieve network disk by samba in linux?

0. install samba

sudo yum install samba

1. amend samba conf in '/etc/samba/smb.conf'

append this coding behind your smb.conf

 [share] # [important] disk name, define it by yourself, use it to login your windows
        comment = share all # descirption, enjoy yourself
        path = /tmp/samba # the path which you want to share, be careful the permissions
        browseable = yes # default
        public = yes # default
        writable = no # default

2. add user with pdbedit

useradd user1

pdbedit -a user1

3. start your samba server

sudo /etc/init.d/smb start

4. set your network disk with mark by your configure

use format: \\ip\disk name

for example: \\20.30.50.60\share

5. input your password
