让我们先从一星期中的日子和一年中的月份开始学起。在学习星期之前，要记得首字母大写，而且在日历中，每个星期从星期天开始的。一星期中日子的名称：

现在，我们来看日期。表示日期，我们用序数词和介词 "on" 。

My birthday is on the sixth of August.（我的生日是八月六日）
The first day of school is on the fifteenth of September.（九月十五日是开学第一天）
Saint George's day is on the twenty-third of Aprill.（圣乔治日是四月23日）
美国人先读月份读日子：
Aprill 26: Aprill twenty-sixth
在读2000年之前的年份时，我们要将其分成两部分。年份：
1996 nineteen ninety-six
表示年份的时候总是使用介词 "in" 。
