I encountered the error as below:

 /var/cache/apt/archives/apport_2.20.1-0ubuntu2.4_all.deb
E: Sub-process /usr/bin/dpkg returned an error code (1)

I have tried to many ways to deal it.  After I consider why my computer meet this error.  I find that when I run tensorflow,  I change my python version to 3.5. Even I do not make the default python version. So I recover my python version to 2.7.13. It is glad that I never meet the aforementioned error. The needed commands as below

sudo ln -s /user/bin/python2 /usr/bin/python

sudo apt-get update
sudo apt-get upgrade

sudo ln -s /usr/bin/python3 /usr/bin/python
