We’ll assume you have Django installed already. You can tell Django is installed and which version by running the following command:

python -c "import django; print(django.get_version())"

Step01:Creating a project
From the command line,cd into a directory where you’d like to store your code,then run the following command:

django-admin startproject mysite

Step02:Creating models

python manage.py startapp polls

Step03:Activating models

Now Django knows to include the polls app. Let’s run another command:

python manage.py makemigrations polls

Now, run migrate again to create those model tables in your database:

python manage.py migrate
