Step in Lingering Garden
Yes, today was yet another fun-filled day starting with Lingering Garden. Lingering Garden tours are well known for exquisite layout and various strange stones of the garden, being one of the four famous gardens. Suzhou is an extremely easy place to travel.
Its architectural space processing is exquisite; the garden makers use all kinds of artistic techniques in order to constitute the rhythmic and metrical garden space system and make it the world's famous example of architectural space art processing. Suzhou is one of the famous cities which is well-known for its gardens especially Lingering Garden tour.
We had ordered a hotel near Lingering Garden in advance. The environments of the hotels around Lingering Garden were comfortable and quiet, so we didn't afraid that we would be troubled. Now, the garden consists of four parts: the eastern part gives priority to its construction; the western part is a big rockery confined stones and earth; the northern part is the pastoral scenery. We visited all three parts on the last weekend; the central part is for landscape gardens.
In the Lingering Garden tour, I was not navigating in the dark and there were plenty of Chinese to bump into. Lingering Garden is a private garden that is classical and big. It represents the styles of Qing Dynasty whose architecture is famous and exquisite, hall is magnificent and courtyard is rich. The transportations around Lingering Garden are very convenient and there are many ways of transportations you can choose.
In addition to trip planning with the Internet and Google Earth, all we needed for a successful tour was common sense and courtesy. I have already felt in love with it. I'll be posting my journal along with lots of photographs over the next few days, including reviews of all the places we stayed.
