为什么大学生就业困难？
Why is job-hunting difficult for university students?

如今，越来越多的大学生在毕业的时候找不到工作。
Nowadays, more and more university students find it difficult to find jobs when they graduate from universities.

这有几个原因。
There are several reasons for the phenomenon.

首先，现在大学生的数量比以前任何时候都要多。
First, there are many more students than ever before.

我们都知道，随着多年来大学的扩招，
As we all know, with the enrollment extension of universities and colleges,

社会上已经出现大学生供过于求的情况。
the supply of university graduates exceeds social demand.

其次，大学生在学校里学习的知识，有些脱离实际，有些又过于陈旧。
Second, what university studends learn in universities is not practical at all and some of the knowledge is out of date.

再次，有些大学生在找工作时过于挑剔。
Thirds, some university studends are too picky when hunting jobs.

他们有些期望过高的工资，
Some of them expect higher salaries then employers offer.

有些有眼高手低。
Some of them actually are unfit for higher posts but unwilling to take lower ones.

我认为，大学生必须从那种“考上大学毕业就有好工作”的传统观念中转变出来。
In my opinion, university students must shift from the traditional view that entering university guarantees a good job upon graduation.

更多地关注社会的需求，提高自身技能，从而使自己能够适应社会的需求。
They must focus more on what the society needs and improve themselves so as to make them fit for society.
