Computer ‘experts’ misuse our language because computers do not have the ability to function as these so-called ‘experts’ maintain.

(Preliminary Comments)

In his interesting article, ‘Forget About Coding, The Job Of The Future Is Philosophy’, Luca Rossi defined intelligence as follows:

‘The ability to solve complex problems rapidly and efficiently.’

However, Rossi was mistaken because intelligence is a faculty, not an ability. Nor is intelligence your ‘disfaculty’ you call your ‘intellect’ because the intellect only contains your disability of intellectualizing. I have coined the word, ‘disfaculty’, to describe the intellect.

Unfortunately, philosophers have not realized that they have no word for the ability which your faculty of intelligence contains. As a result, I have had to invent this word. Consequently, I invented the word, ‘intelligizing’, to express the ability contained by your faculty of intelligence.

Your faculty of intelligence is not your disfaculty of intellect because you mistakenly invented your disfaculty of intellect and your disability of intellectualizing with your ability of intelligizing because you used your ability of intelligizing to guide your ability of reasoning so that you could reason and invent your disfaculty of logic (your disfaculty of intellect) as well as invent your disability of ‘logicizing’ (your disfaculty of intellectualizing) in your logical (intellectual) disfaculty. Your disfaculty of intellect or logic is related to your disfaculty of cogitation; therefore, your disability of intellectualizing or logicizing is used by you to guide your disability of cogitating. Consequently, thinking and reasoning are abilities, while cogitating is a disability.

You use your disability of intellectualizing to guide your disability of cogitating. Your intellectualizing is based on the cogitating you do with the logical laws you use to govern your use of language.

You use your ability of intelligizing to guide your ability of reasoning. Your intelligizing is based on the reasoning you do with your need to know which you choose to activate so that you are motivated to improvisationally infer with your use of language.

You use your ability of intelligizing to solve complex problems rapidly and efficiently according to your choice of being motivated by your need to know what is needed, while you use your disability of intellectualizing in a problem by governing your disability of cogitating with intellectualized laws so that your rapid and efficient solving of a complex problem is filled with mistakes resulting from not knowing what is needed. You see, when you intellectualize, you don’t know that you don’t need these laws to govern your use of language because you don’t know that your choice of what you need determines the goal of your sentences.

A computer is just a machine; therefore, a computer cannot be built with faculties, disfaculties, abilities or disabilities which means that a computer cannot be built with a faculty of intelligence containing the ability of intelligizing nor built with a disfaculty of intellect containing the disability of intellectualizing. Consequently, a computer is not able to solve problems rapidly and efficiently by its use of reasoning in accord with its realistic needs as guided by its intelligizing or by its use of cogitating in discord with delusional laws as ‘controlled’ by its intellectualizing.

(A Computer does not Function; a Computer is Functioned)

A computer simply does not function because a computer does not have the ability to function its own mechanisms, just as a brain do not have the ability to organize its own processes. A computer is functioned by the electromagnetic power of the Source’s Power or the branches of the Source’s Will in the computer’s energy forms and particles. When a computer is not related to its power supply, the computer is not functioned; therefore it is obvious that the computer is reliant on electromagnetism to do its functioning for it.

A computer does not function nor does it function by intelligence because even the Source does not have the ability to intelligize, although the Source does have the archetypal faculty of intelligence which it transfers to you as your ectypal faculty of intelligence. You are able to develop your ability of intelligizing in your ectypal faculty of intelligence because you are an individual with the need to relate. The Source is not an individual, but contains all individuals, nor does the Source have a need to relate to the individuals it develops. Consequently, the Source does not have the ability to intelligize existing in Its archetypal faculty of intelligence because It does not need this ability.

(The Misuse of Language by Computer ‘Experts’)

Computer ‘experts’ misuse their language in describing computers which is demonstrated by their use of the phrase, ‘artificial intelligence’. The phrase, ‘artificial intelligence’ is a contradiction in terms, i.e., an oxymoron, because artifacts cannot be used to ‘construct’ a faculty of intelligence. An ectypal faculty of intelligence can only be developed in a psyche from the active potential of the Source’s archetypal intelligence by the Source’s instinctive use of Its Will to do so.

Computer ‘experts’ also misuse the terms, ‘discover’ and ‘perform’, as well as misuse the phrases, ‘computer learning’ or ‘machine learning’. Computer ‘experts’ do not realize that the phrases, ‘computer learning’ and ‘machine learning’, are oxymorons because a computer is not able to discover, perform, or learn.

A computer does not discover how to perform tasks because a computer does not have the ability to discover or the ability to perform. Discovery requires intelligizing by a psyche. Because a computer does not have a psyche, the computer is not able to intelligize; therefore, it can’t discover either.

A performance is the execution of actions which a computer has no ability to do. The performances that accomplish tasks in a computer’s mechanisms are carried out by way of the Source’s use of Its power of electromagnetism in the computer.

Computers do not learn from experience because computers do not have the ability to experience. Only psyches have the ability to experience, not physicalities, whether this physicality is a constructed computer of mechanisms which are functioned by the Source or a grown brain of neurons which are processed by their psyches with the help of the Source.

Computers do not learn how to solve new problems without being programmed to do so because they must be programmed with data. The electromagnetism in a computer is used by the Source to generate a statistical model from the computer’s programming and, in turn, generate new algorithms to meet the new situation occurring around the computer’s sensors. There is no learning taking place, even incidentally, by the computer or by the Source because the Source is not intelligent. The Source is not intelligent, despite having Its faculty of intelligence because the Source has no ability to intelligize in Its faculty of Intelligence.

Computers don’t automatically generate anything because automatic process is also an oxymoron. The phrase ‘automatic process’ is just as much an oxymoron as artificial intelligence and computer learning because automatism is delusionally believed by pseudo-scientists to be processing derived from the stasis of laws when processing can only derived from voluntarism which is the derivation of processing from an act of Will whether this act is developed by the Source’s use of Its Will or by a psyche’s use of the branches of the Source’s Will in tandem with the Source.

A computer also does not have the ability to analyze or the disability to predict on the basis of analysis because a computer is not inhabited by a psyche who has the ability to analyze as well as the disability to predict. We are psyches who can analyze the data which has been generated in a computer and we can guess what might happen based on the variables demonstrated in the data which we have analyzed; however, we cannot predict what will happen because there is no written future which predetermines our happening, no past which determines our happening, and no present in which we freely happen. We continually and freely happen with Immediacy; therefore, there is no need for us to continually and freely happen in a present because we only need to happen with Immediacy in circumstances and situations which occur due to voluntarism, not automatism.

We only continually happen according the Continuity of Immediacy which is the attribute of the Source, noumena, epinoumena, Energy, and the phenomena of Energy. Adding the eternity of the Now to the Continuity of Immediacy is, as the Zen masters say, like ‘adding legs to a snake’; it is an entirely unnecessary and delusional addition because eternity and the Now do not exist.

Happening is not determined by the past, predetermined by the future, or freely determined in the present because temporality is a delusion. You can freely and intentionally guide who and how you will be as you immediately happen and continue to happen, but what will happen is also the result of circumstances generated freely and intentionally in situations by other people as well as generated freely, but unintentionally, in these situations by the Source. Consequently, happening can never be predicted by us, but can only be that at which we guess.

What will happen can be anticipated, realistically, but never expected, realistically, because expectation is the pretense that you know what will happen; however, anticipation is the knowledge that what might happen is likely to occur, but may not occur. This is why a new happening is a surprise to the truly awakened and wise (enlightened) individual.

The wise person knows that there are no laws that we can use to predict what will happen because the Source instinctively and freely uses Its Will in accord with Its needs. We were instinctively and freely developed by the Source to use the branches of Its Will interlacing all noumena (everyone) developed from It, all the epinoumena (needs, sane desires, insane desires, abilities, and faculties) of noumena, as well as Energy and all the phenomena evolved and grown by the Source from Energy so that we are able to be in accord with our needs, sane desires, and insane desires that we let guide us or that we choose to use to guide us.

(Scientism, Language, and Waking Up)

A computer ‘expert’s’ use of language to describe a computer as having abilities is the result of scientism. Pseudo-philosophers and pseudo-scientists who believe in scientism base their belief that their computers have abilities on their belief that their brains have abilities, rather than they have abilities, because they have mistaken their brains for what they are. Their belief that we are our brains is at the root of their scientism. These pseudo-philosophers and pseudo-scientists don’t realize that we cannot be our brains because we possess them. This is why we refer to our brains as ‘ours’.

Computer ‘experts’ who believe in scientism have spread their misuse of language, worldwide, so that many laymen believe their delusional hypothesis that the computer and our brains have abilities, rather than us. These computer ‘experts’ are confined to ‘Plato’s Cave’ and are also reinforcing our tendency to remain there. Consequently, we are afraid to leave this ‘Cave’ and emerge into the light so that we awaken to the truth that computer ‘experts’ are all ‘talking through their hats’.

I often wonder if we will ever feel free enough to challenge the world-wide assumption that our computer ‘experts’ are intelligentsia, rather than are simply intellectuals, by realizing that our use of language is free because our use of language, while based on the facts or realities of our experience, is derived from our interpretation of the facts or realities we are experiencing. I do not know whether we will ever realize, as a community, that our abilities are not derived from physical laws (which is an oxymoron), but are derived from our needs, but I am doing my best to demonstrate that the ultimate Truth of computer ‘experts’ is faulty because I know I am absolutely free to think and reason according to my experience of my needs, sane desires, and insane desires, as well as other facts or realities existing in absolute Reality. Computer ‘experts’ have not emerged from Plato’s Cave, but this doesn’t mean that I haven’t. I have emerged from my sleep in stale air of Plato’s Cave to awake in the fresh air outside of this Cave.

But I often wonder, ‘Will we ever wake up as a community?’
