The Palm WebOS QA group is looking for a motivated and enthusiastic individual to join a strong group of Automation and WB Test development Engineers.

Palm is looking for an exceptional Senior Media Engineer in QA. The ideal candidate brings many years of experience with media technologies in a driving role. An eye and ear for detail is a must. This position will focus on ensuring a seamless media experience for current and future Palm products.
The Senior Media Engineer in QA will be responsible for architecting, building, and executing black box test scripts & suites for media functionality in Palm WebOS.
Skills/Experience:
- Some familiarity with C and/or C++.

Responsibilities:
• Work closely with the software engineering team and hosting/managed services partner maintaining the server-side infrastructure supporting Palm web-connected software solutions.
• Own the Web and Application Server administration tasks for sandbox and development. Assist with staging and production environments. Duties include new development system installations, fine-tuning, deployment, performance monitoring, issue escalations with vendors, volume testing, etc.
• Oversee the implementation of multiple Tomcat instance configuration.
• Work with hosting partner on day-to-day administration of production environments, and new system implementation tasks.
