Individual collective indicator is only for MTO strategies.
Where in the procurement happens account assigned to Sales Order.
If you want to individually procure or collectively procure the components is based on the selection on 1 or 2.
For MTS Materials all the dependent requirements will be procured collectively.
In your case Planning stragey for A and B is 40, so the dependent material Z will be procured collectively only.
Make to Stock -Planning here dependent requirement of the header material will be group together as per the requirement same date .It will not follow up the Individual or Collective requirement Indicator which is only applicable for MTO materials.
What is the planning strategy you are using?
I hope you are doing MTO for Fert Material.
If u want raw material to be produced for with collective,
set the collective/ind = 2 for raw material alone at MRP4 view.
Run the MRP again with planning mode - 3 for FERT.
Also note If u want to system produce one procurement proposal for all two dep requiremnenst, set lot size as MB for components and try. is it what u required.collective requirement means component will produced for several requirements seperately, not for collective of all depent requirements if u set EX lot size.
