Abstract:MANET is a mobile distributed multi-hop network which consists of a couple of mobile nodes that cooperate with each other. As the nodes could move, there is a rigorous request for a route protocol. Usually, it is feasible to exhibit the mobile characteristics of realistic node by using some model.
Node distribution is a key metric that can influence the performance of MANET. Further more, the node distribution largely lie on the mobility models. Consequently, the choice of the model has a directly effect on analyzing and investigation. If the model can not suit to the scenarios well, there is no sense in studying. For simulation-based studies, many mobility models could be used, but here, we only shows the node distribution of the Random Mobility Model in entity mobility model by simulation with MATLAB and gives an evaluation of all of them after simple analysis.
