2012 BI市场（一）

一年一度的Gartner报告又来了，回顾一下2012年的BI市场吧。

2013年2月5日，Gartner发布2012年BI魔力象限（Magic Quadrant for Business Intelligence Platforms）

 

对比前两年的报告，第一象限的数量由8个增加为10个，各家的位置也小有变动，但大的格局并没有变化。其实从2007、2008年IT巨头的并购潮之后，虽说总盘子在增大，但BI市场十分平稳。

从近些年BI市场份额（2012年的BI市场占有率报告还没出来，但估计不会有太大变化）的趋势也可以看出，2007年之前，并购潮前是弱寡头垄断市场（前4家不到40%)，而现在是强寡头垄断市场(前4家超过了60%）。没有革命性技术出现或强大的外部力量的话，这种强寡头垄断的特点就是稳定。

稳定同时也代表了，缺少变化，缺少创新。目前的几个巨头，SAP BO,Oracle BIEE,SAS,IBM Cognos，都感觉只是坐地收钱，而缺少攻城拔寨的拓张。
