摘要:
Although the majority of home PCs ship with Windows, it's becoming increasingly common for people to want to experiment with other operating systems ― usually some flavour of Linux. One way to do this is to make your PC 'dual boot' ― you install both operating systems, and have your machine ask you at start-up which one you'd like to run. The process can take a while, but that's down to the fact that Windows and Linux take ages to install ― the time you spend actually typing stuff in on your keyboard is much less than the time you spend waiting for progress indicators to creep from the left to the right-hand side of the screen.
