Abstract：In communication theory and practical service system, the discrete event stochastic system is a kind of common systems.The study of discrete event stochastic system can lay the foundation for complex network analysis. In order to analyze the state change of the system and a series of indexes such as the statistical distribution of the captain, waiting time, busy period and so on, this paper discusses the modeling and simulation of M/M/1 discrete event stochastic system, taking the swich system for example, by using event scheduling method through the MATLAB simulation software. This method has the characteristics of generality and can be applied to other discrete event stochastic systems as well.
