based on fitness variance of cuckoo search

which analyzes the relationship between the fitness

variance and the different parameters pa and

. This improves

algorithm on the basis of fitness variance to adjust the

parameters of algorithm dynamically. It uses CS and VCS to

carry out numerical experiments for 5 test benchmarks. The

simulation results show that the proposed VBA is superior to

CS.
