1. Install & Initialize Tmux

brew install tmux	" use brew to install tmux

copy .tmux.conf to ~ [Link]

copy .tmux.conf.local to ~ [Link]

• Sessions
  • tmux - start a new session
  • tmux new -s <NAME> - start with name
  • tmux ls - list the current sessions
  • Within tmux, use <C-a> d to detach the current session
  • Use tmux a to attach the last session, add -t to specify which
• Windows
  • <C-a> c Create a new window.
  • <C-a> N Go to the N th window.
  • <C-a> p Go to the previous window.
  • <C-a> n Go to the next window.
  • <C-a> , Rename current window.
  • <C-a> w List current windows.
• Panes
  • <C-a> “ Split the current pane horizontally.
  • <C-a> % Split the current pane vertically.
  • <C-a> <direction> Change the focus to specified direction.
  • <C-a> z Maximize current pane.
  • <C-a> [ Scroll back. Press <space> to start selection and <enter> to copy.
  • <C-a> <space> Auto-arrange panes.
