1, 形容词的位置

名词前后：形容词 + 名词 + 形容词

主格补语位置： 主语+ 动词（2形式） + 形容词

目的格补语位置：主语 + 动词（5形式）+ 形容词

注意：

1. 名词前后的“修饰语“可以省略，”补语“的位置不可以省略
2. 名词后主要加 -ible / -able (能力/可能性) 的形容词修饰
3. 代表性的 2形式 动词：be, become, remain, stay, seem
4. 代表性的 5形式 动词：leave, keep, consider, find, deem(认为，视作，持某种看法)

例句）

名词前边：The professional analyst requested that we provide more information.

补语位置：The newly hired employee was relatively competitive compared to others

 

2, 数量形容词

数量形容词 + 名词： 数量形容词的形式根据后边名词的形式

1. Many / (a) few / several / both + 复数名词
2. Much / (a) little / less + 不可数名词

例句）Many emplyees would like to register for the company’s accounting training seminar.

 2.1 可数名词和数量形容词

 One / another / each / every / the whole / the entire + 单数名词

（a）few / several / many / both + 复数名词

A number of / a variety of / a range of / an array of + 复数名词

A selection of /  a range of / a series of / a collection of + 复数名词

• <a -----of + 复数名词> 和many等一起用

2.2 不可数名词和数量形容词

（a）little / much / less / A great deal of / amount of / a (great / good) amount / quantity of  + 不可数名词

 à<a -----of + 不可数名词> 和much等一起用

2.3 可数/不可数名词都可能的数量形容词

No / some / any   +  单数名词 / 复数名词 / 不可数名词

All / most / other / more + 复数名词 / 不可数名词

A lot of / lots of / plenty of + 复数名词 / 不可数名词

  3.1 一般形容词的状态

名词 -ous	Humor à humorous; danger à dangerous
名词 –(a)ble	Value à valuable; rely à reliable; use à usable
名词 –(i)ent	Defifcit à deficient; benefit à beneficent
名词 –ful	Thought à thoughtful; care à careful
名词 -ic	Economy à economic; drama à dramatic
名词 -less	Stain à stainless; harm à harmless; pain à painless
名词 -y	Worth à worthy; risk à risky; wealth à wealthy
名词 -ly	Time à timely; cost à costly; friend à friendly; leisure à leisurely

注意：名词+ly = 形容词； 形容词 + ly = 副词

3.2 分词形容词

动词 -ing / -ed(P.P过去分词) + 名词 （动作接收者，动作的发出者）

不及物动词（不可以直接加宾语的词语）没有被动形式；-ing只有主动形分词

-ing/ed包含的动词不是动作，表达感情的时候，-ing表示事物；-ed表示人

4.2 形容词和修饰语 : 典型的<be + adj + 介词>
