12.PURCHASING AND AUTHENTIC COMPONENT ASSURANCE

12.1 P- Is there a procedure that defines controls for ensuring procurement of authentic material from original manufacturers or their authorized distributors, supplier-approved independent distributors, or customer defined sources that includes:

12.1.1 P- Qualification criteria of Independent Distributors?YES/NO

12.1.2 P- Ongoing monitoring of Independent Distributor performance?YES/NO

12.1.3 P- Minimum required testing (i.e. as agreed to by customer and as appropriate) for components that are not traceable back to Original Component Manufacturer?YES/NO

12.1.4 P- The acceptance criteria for material procured from independent distributors such as listed in the AS5553?YES/NO

12.2 C- Are all material / components/ services purchased through the approved source?YES/NO

12.3 C- Is there evidence that:

12.3.1 C- Qualified Independent Distributors are being used for procurement of components?YES/NO
