This is the module 1 of the 9 modules of AWS Well-Architected Framework (WAF), an overview of the features of WAF and the general principles in the cloud environment.

Describe the features of WAF; (WAF特点)
-
Describe general design principles in the cloud environment;
-
Describe pillars of WAF; (WAF

Purpose of WAF (WAF
The WAF enables the customer to make informed decisions about the architecture, in a cloud-native way, and understand the potential impact of design decisions.
The WAF provides a consistent approach to evaluating workload architecture through a set of questions, across five pillars (now six pillars) with design principles.
PS. A workload is a collection of interrelated applications, infrastructure, policy, governance, and operations that provide business or operational value.

General design principles (设计原则)
In a traditional environment, customers (you): (传统环境下的客户痛点)
- Had to guess infrastructure needs, which was often based on high-level business requirements and demand.
- Could not afford to test at scale. (handling larger volumes) A complete duplicate of production costs is hard to
