overview basic execution environment(ia_32)

adress space:每个运行在ia-32处理器结构下的任务和应用程序

control registers:the five control registers(CR0-CR5)(不是６个吗)determine the operating mode of the processor and the characteristics of the currently executing task.

memory management registers:the GDTR IDTR task register LDTR specify  the location of data structure in protected mode memory management.

debug register :the debug register (DR0 through DR7)control and allow monitoring of the processor's debug operating.

memory type range register :the MTRRs is used to assign memory types to region of memory.

 machine specific register :the MSRs are used to control and report on processor performance. Vritually all MSRs handle related function and are not asscessiable to application program.

machine check register :

performance monitor register:are allowed the processor perfromance event to be monitor.
