1) How to put a iPhone into recovery Mode

Step 1. Keep your iPhone connected with iTunes7.6 though cable.

Step 2. Turn off your iPhone.

Step 3. Hold down the power and home button about 10 seconds.

Step 4. When you see the Apple logo, release the power button but continue holding the home button down.

2) How to install iPhone firmware.

Step 5. In iTunes,                        

In Windows OS, press “Shift” key, in Mac OS, press “option” key, at the same time click “Restore”.

Setp 6. Choose a firmware 1.1.4 file “iPhone1,1_1.1.4_4A102_Restore.ipsw”. (If you want to install other firmware such as firmware 1.1.1, you can choose “iPhone1,1_1.1.1_3A109a_Restore.ipsw”.) When it finished, there will be a 1015 error message shown. Don’t care about this error. Just go on.

Step 7. When Step 6 finished, run “iBrickr” in Windows OS. Chick the restart button, if the real-phone’s background turn to Green, do step5 and step6 again. If the iPhone’s background turn to Red go to step 8.

3) How to jailbreak a iPhone

Step 8. Trun to “iPlus 2.2” folder, run “jailbreak.bat”

4) How to unlock a Sim-Card of a iPhone

Step 9. Normally, Step8 can unlock sim-card at the same time. If your sim-card is not unlocked, please use “BootNeuter” to check if the sim-card is unlocked. It can write the BootLoader which version your want (I use BootLoader verion 4.6). The most of all, it can unlock Baseband which will check the sim-card, provide call functions.

“BootNeuter” tool is a app on iPhone device. We can use “ibus_v2.0” to install it.

5) Which version firmware of iPhone can be jailbroken?

All the steps above, only shows how to setup a iPhone with OS 1.1.4 below. After you follow the steps to setup a iPhone with a OS 1.1.4A102 version, we can go to next to make a iPhone2.0 OS.

6) How to jailbreak iPhone2.0?

(c) Then the iPhone will be update to iPhone2.0 firmware.

(d) iPhone will restart, then BootNeure2.0’s UI will be shown. Then message “Flashing baseband...” will be shown. Then a successful message will be shown. Then you can test that a jailbroken iPhone2.0 is on your iPhone device now.

b) iPhone1,1_1.1.1_3A109a_Restore.ipsw

The official firmware coming from Apple.

c) iPhone1,1_2.0_5A347_Custom_Restore.ipsw

The custom iPhone2.0 5A347 version firmware.

d) iBrickr

The Windows tool to restart iPhone to check the bootloader of iPhone is OK for install new firmware.

e) iPlus 2.2

The Windows jailbreak tool of iPhone.

f) BootNeuter

The iPhone tool to rewrite iPhone’s BootLoader and unlock baseband. This tool should installed with iBus. There is no copy.

g) ibus_v2.0

The Window tool to install 3^rd-part app in iPhone.

h) iTunesSetup7.6.exe

iTunes7.6 for Windows Version which can used to install iPhone1.1.4 or bellow .

i) iTunes7.7.0.43.exe

iTunes7.7 for Windows which can used to install iPhone2.0.
