A new phenomenon has occured more undergraduates are applying for a lower-tier university than the previous one they studied, noticeable students from the double-first class universities, similar to LVY league or G5 group. And I quote "In fact, the goal of graduate of study should not be primarily and solely chasing for academic degree but rather to choose the right profession and improve your working and studying abilities."

The truth is, from the propective of university education, first-class universities do not mean that all disciplines and majors are first-class. I 've known whose graduate school are famous with high reputation but all that glitter is not gold, I can assure you that. I mean, be responsible for your dream and your future in a non-ostensible way. What do you say about the graduate schools phenomenon?

Private sector to get active support for major projects

日前在福建晋江召开的创新发展“晋江经验”促进民营经济高质量发展大会上，国家发展改革委主任郑栅洁表示，政府将鼓励和吸引更多民间资本参与国家重大工程项目建设。为进一步强化民营经济融资支持，国家发展改革委还在会上正式发布全国融资信用服务平台。

China will roll out pragmatic measures to support the growth of the private economy, such as encouraging private enterprises to participate in the construction of major national engineering projects, officials said at a conference.

政府官员日前在一个大会上表示，中国将推出支持民营经济发展的务实措施，比如鼓励民营企业参与国家重大工程项目建设。

The government will encourage more private investors to take part in national projects, such as railways, nuclear power plants, water conservancy, and ecological and environmental protection, and help them in financing and project recommendations, said Zheng Shanjie, head of the National Development and Reform Commission, China's top economic regulator, during the conference in Jinjiang, East China's Fujian province. The two-day event that concluded on Wednesday focused on promoting high-quality development of the private economy and drawing on the experience of Jinjiang, a city that became prosperous after its private economy boomed.

在福建晋江召开的创新发展“晋江经验”促进民营经济高质量发展大会上，国家发展改革委主任郑栅洁表示，政府将鼓励和吸引更多民间资本参与国家重大工程项目建设，比如铁路、核电站、水利和生态环保工程，帮助民营企业融资和推介项目。晋江市就是在民营经济发展壮大后走向繁荣的。这一为期两天的大会于1月3日闭幕。

"China will accelerate the legislative process on the promotion of the private economy, and the government will improve multilevel communications and exchanges, and listen to the real voices of private enterprises," Zheng said.

郑栅洁表示，中国将加快推进民营经济促进法立法进程，健全完善多层次常态化沟通交流机制，努力倾听民企真实声音。

"In addition, the country will strengthen analysis of the private economy's development, promote good practices and cases for mutual learning, and improve work mechanisms with a view to better serve the private economy's development," he said.

他指出，国家还将加强民营经济发展形势综合分析，推广典型做法和优秀案例，加强互学互鉴，建立完善工作机制，形成服务民营经济发展的强大合力。

China will support private enterprises in jointly participating in the Belt and Road Initiative, and continue to enhance their international competitiveness, he added.

郑栅洁还表示，国家将支持民营企业参与共建“一带一路”，继续增强民营企业的国际竞争力。

The country's private economy has shown long-term growth prospects.

我国民营企业展示出了长期的增长前景。

The private sector has formed a growing proportion of the nation's GDP, and now accounts for more than 60 percent of the total, according to the National Bureau of Statistics.

国家统计局数据显示，民营经济在国内生产总值中占比越来越大，目前已超过60%。

Last year, several policies were introduced to promote the development of the private economy, and it has shown steady progress.

去年国家推出了一系列促进民营经济发展的政策并已稳步见效。

In the first 11 months of 2023, the total import and export value of private enterprises grew by 6.1 percent year-on-year, which was 6.1 percentage points faster than the growth rate of the nation's total imports and exports by value. During the same period, excluding investments in real estate development, private investment in the country increased by 9.1 percent year-on-year, said the NDRC.

发展改革委称，2023年1至11月，民营企业进出口同比增长6.1%，比进出口总额增速快6.1个百分点。扣除房地产开发投资，2023年1至11月民间投资同比增长9.1%。

Meanwhile, the NDRC released a national financing credit service platform during the conference.

The platform aims to assist in intelligent matching of financing needs of private enterprises and the products of financial institutions. It also recommended 200 key national projects for private capital participation.

Fujian is one of the earliest birthplaces of the private economy in China. The private economy generates 70 percent of tax revenues and the GDP in the province.

More than 90 percent of enterprises in the province are private, and they have created over 80 percent employment for the urban labor force, according to the local government.
