1> 单形式

例1> admit

The man admitted 【stealing】 the bike.
那个男子承认偷了自行车。

• 已知，事实，用动名词Ving；

例2> suggest

Tatum suggsed going by bicycle instead of by car.
Tatum 建议骑自行车而不是开车。

• by bike by car 强调交通方式；注意区分 ride bike；
• instead of： 代替，作为什么的替换，而不是；
• suggest ： 方案已有，所以已知，事实用Ving；

例3> ptetend

I don’t pretend to be an expert on the subject.
我不想妄称自己是该学科的专家。

• present： V 向公众展示， /ˈpreznt/
• ex-pert：n, 专家， /ˈekspɜːrt/
• 讲话当下，不是专家，所以用 不定式，未知，计划；

例4> dislike + ving

I dislike being tought in English by my mother.
我不喜欢给我母亲教英文。

• 不喜欢，事实，用Ving

• 被动 beV + P.P

• My mother teaches me English.
  teach 双宾动词，要有2个宾语；
  I am tought English by my mother. // 主动123， 被动321；

Tatum likes singing old folk songs.
Tatum likes to sing old folk songs.
Tatum 喜欢唱古老的民谣。

• likes: 第3人称单数；
• like（老大） ， sing（老2）
  一个句子，出现2个动词，老2要看老大的脸色；

例2> like

I like swimming， but I wouldn’t like to swim now.
我喜欢游泳，但我现在不想游泳

• 句子有时态，需注意；
  Ving：已知，事实； to+v: 未知，计划；

例3> prefer

I prefer staying at home instead of going fishing.
I prefer to stay at home instead of going fishing.
I prefer to stat at home rather than go fishing.
I prefer staying home to going fishing.
我比较喜欢呆在家里而不是去钓鱼。

• pre-fer: pre事先，fer拿，事先拿，类似tatek；
  你喜欢的，偏好；
• rather than： 而不是；
  instead of：

例4> start

Tatum started crying when he saw his father.
Tatum started to cry when he saw his father.
当Tatum见到父亲时，他开始哭了起来。

例5> continue

He continued talking for twenty minutes.
He continued to talk for twenty minutes.
他持续说了20分钟。
