Concept of production Order close

Difference on production order between technical completion and close.

[@more@] Technical Completion is performed when the production orders are completed. It will not be allowed additional goods receipt/issues. The production orders are posted to variance not WIP any more.

After technical completed, you will close production orders. When you do so the system will not pick these closed orders for calculation of variance or WIP or settlement again. This improves the performance of the month-end processes.

Normally, what I did are technical completed regularly (daily, or weekly, and of course monthly). So that the production orders are closed if the production orders are really finished. Then closing of production orders is performed for the technical completed production order of last months to improve the performance of WIP, variance, and settlement programs.
