My favourite city

Everyone has it favourite city, also which city do I like best? Do you know.  Now from the PPT, we can see some pictures, I think you know which city do I like best. The first picture, it is talk about Lingyin Temple, the next picture is talk about Qiantang River. This is my favourite city----Hangzhou. It is a city with a rich history and culture.

 

When I was young, my parents were work in Hangzhou, so I often went to Hangzhou with my brother. Qiantang River is the largest river int Hangzhou,Zhejiang Provice. Qiantang river Tidal Waves is the greatest tidal bore in the world. On the each 18thday of the eighth month by the Chinese Lunar calendar.Thousands of visitors both from home and abroad flock to Hangzhou to view the spectacular view of the tidal waves.

 

Do you know where is the Hangzhou,  I got a picture from the Google Map, this is Hangzhou, Hangzhou is lies in northern Zhejiang. The city is linked to Central China by an extensive work of canals. Today Hangzhou has a population of 6.11 million. Also Hangzhou has nickname, such as Linan Qiantang  Wulin. From the  picture, we can see the West Lake. The West lake is in the  western section of the city. Embraced by green hills on the three sides.
