The diagrams above describe stages and equipments used in the cement-making process, and the procedure of concrete used for building proposes.

 

As for the cement production, there are several ingredients necessary to produce qualified cement. To begin with, lime stone need to be mingled with clay, and after clashing process, the powder is produced. Then it goes into the mixer with rotating and heating. Next, the product goes into the grinder. Finally, the cement comes out and packaged in bags.

 

Besides, more ingredients are needed including cement in order to create concrete. To be more precise, it is advised to add 15 percent cement, 25 percent sand, 50 percent gravel (i.e. small stones) and 10 percent water into a concrete mixer. With everything involved, the concrete will come out after a few minutes. The concrete is strong enough to make the bricks used for construction.

 

In summary, producing concrete involves many procedures which are high-demanding with the ingredients and machines.

Few issues have reached more controversial as to solve growing traffic and pollution problems. It is proposed that increasing the price of patrol is the best approach to resolve these complicated problems. Yet personally, I am not in favor of this suggestion. Rather, we need to develop a new source of energy which can eliminate the influence conducted by traffic and pollution problems.

 

We have to concede that with the widespread use of automobile, traffic congestion becomes increasingly serious. What’s worse, we are confronted with gas pollution which has a profound effect on our environment. To tackle these problems, the issue of increasing price of petrol has given rise to the agenda in many countries. Admittedly, this measure deserves its merits: People with a tight budget tend to utilize public transportation instead of driving their cars because it’s too expensive. A downside in car use can best illustrate the advantage of this measure.

 

However, as far as I am concerned, this measure is ill-grounded, by what I mean, there are several drawbacks within this measure. To begin with, those who are rich enough will not be affected; they still drive their luxury cars regardless of any limitation. Worse still, since the oil is a fundamental resource, it may affect nearly all the industries in the long run. Consequently, it will have a negative influence to both domestic and international economy.

 

Since the demerits of increasing oil price outweigh its merits, we need to scheme out a more feasible plan. Use solar energy is an appropriate idea to resolve energy problem. Although the technique has not well developed, we can strongly believe that it is one of the most promising industries in the future. By that time, the traffic and pollution problem will possibly be wiped out.
