how to monitor Linux with MRTG

1. install MRTG/SNMP

# yum install mrtg net-snmp net-snmp-utils

2. config SNMP

# modify /etc/snmp/snmpd.conf file

# chkconfig snmpd on
# service snmpd restart

3. config MRTG
   /etc/mrtg/mrtg.cfg
4. gather data
   env LANG=C /usr/bin/mrtg /etc/mrtg/mrtg.cfg
