On wednesday evening,a large crown of people went to the Town Hall,for the new year'coming.They were expecting the clicking in twenty minutes' time.Fifteen minutes pasted and then,at five to twelve,the clock stopped.The big hands of the clock didn't move any more,but hardly did the crowd notice .Serveral miniutes later,someone shouted that it was two past twelve and the clock had stopped.At the same time,everyone laughed and sang togerther.
The clock refused to welcome the new year.
