解决：Before you can run Vmware, several modules must be compiled and loaded into the running kernel

一、问题

在Ubuntu系统中安装VMware，图标成功显示在程序中，但是打开进行Install时报错如下

关闭后报错Before you can run Vmware, several modules must be compiled and loaded into the running kernel.

这是需要更新 Linux Kernel Headers。

二、解决

运行如下代码

sudo apt-get update
sudo apt-get install build-essential linux-headers-$(uname -r)
git clone https://github.com/mkubecek/vmware-host-modules.git
cd vmware-host-modules
git checkout workstation-16.2.3   # 根据自己的版本调整
sudo make
sudo make install

再次打开虚拟机，发现正常出现安装页面
