1. The HTTP client process initiates a TCP connection to the server www.someSchool.edu on port number 80, which is the default port number for HTTP. Associated with the TCP connection, there will be a socket at the client and a socket at the server.

80是HTTP的默认服务端口号，客户端Client大概率不会从本地的80端口，而是随机一个较大（如14143）的端口号向服务器的80端口发送请求。

对不能 “硬链接到目录” 的解释，原文如下：

/etc_hd 硬链接到 /etc 上，/etc_hd下的数据 需要 连同 /etc下所有的数据都建立连接。

如下图所示，目录是文件，目录的 硬链接 应该是 目录文件 block 中 <name,目录文件inode> 的映射，与目录文件中的文件数据无关，因此，理论上 创建到目录的硬链接 可以实现。而Unix禁止 到目录 的硬链接， “..” 和 “.” 引起的 歧义 和 套娃 我认为才是主要原因。
