Tester responsibility in agile testing

1. Functional tester in team
One team one tester plus one intern, all the test activities are driven by the tester in team. Test responsibility include:
1). Quick study: Study requirement and think about test points
2). Planning game: Join in team planning game, discuss requirement, exeptionl logic and test points
3). Test design: Discuss/design test points with related develper & TPM, clarify design detail, define test layer, drive test review, identify test framework or simulator change request, identify existed test cases impacted by new requirement
4). Implement: Write detail test cases, implement simulator, implement test framework, provide automatic test case example
5). Test: Execute test cases, write & review automatic test cases, raise & verify bugs, happy test, usability test
6). DOD: Tick test item & check whether they're done before DOD
7). Internal bug analysis and trace
8). Improve and practise test way of working

2. Specific non-funtional tester (Performance test & Stability test):
One project one non-functional tester plus one intern, all non-functional test activities are driven by non-functional tester. Test responsibility should include:
1). Join in team planning game to get understood new requirement
2). Cooperate with team to identify performance/stability impact of new requirement or design
3). Non-functional test design, dirve test review
4). Execute performance test and stability test, trace any issues encountered
5). Test report
6). Improve and practise test way of working


3. Automatic test framework tester
One product one test framework tester plus one intern for each project, the automatic test framework and simulator should suitable for all projects. Test responsibility should include:
1). Design, Develop and maintain test framework
2). Design, Develop and maintain simulator
3). Provide automatic test cases example

4.Test leader responsibility
Functional test:
1). Study requirement
2). Discuss test points with testers, provide  professional test suggestions
3). Review test points and test cases, identify unreasonable test points & test cases
4). Happy test

Non-functional test (Performance test & Stability test):
5). Discuss non-functional test points with non-functional test leader
6). Review test points and test cases
7). Provide support to non-functional testers
8). Discuss non-functional issues and test result with non-functional test leader

Automatic test:
9). Discuss automatic test framework with automatic test leader
10). Discuss simulator framework with automatic test leader
11). Discuss automatic test plan with automatic test leader
12). Review automatic test framework, simulator and test case example
13). Monitor continuous integration test status
14). Improve continuous integration test

Management:
15). Resolve the problems testers encountered, provide professional suggestions to them so that they can handle the issues in time
16). Monitor the test progress,  identify the risk efficiently to insure delivery in time with high quality
17). Coordinate across team activities
18). Collect feedback from team and drive test way of working improvement
