【HDR】001 - 基本概念

1 HDR 概览

高动态范围（HDR）是比通常更高的动态范围，同义词是宽动态范围、扩展动态范围
wiki 定义如下：

High dynamic range (HDR), also known as wide dynamic range, extended dynamic range, or expanded dynamic range, is a signal with a higher dynamic range than usual.

再来看看 海思 HDR VIVID 标准中 对 HDR的定义与阐述：

HDR Vivid（菁彩HDR）是中国超高清视频产业联盟发布的高动态范围的视频技术标准。 与传统技术相比，HDR Vivid让用户在影像中看到更逼真的画面、更丰富的色彩还原、更深邃的暗部细节及更精妙的亮部处理， 通过鲜明的层次及立体的维度，让时空穿梭于光影之间亦幻亦真。


这里的主要是因为 HDR 需要使用更大的色深，10bit以上，所以它可以展示更加宽广的色域范围,和表达更高的亮度范围（当然，它需要设备的最大亮度达到要求，片源也得是HDR，系统层面也做了tonemap 调试，才能最终得到一个不错的HDR效果）

2 基础名词解析

这里主要介绍 Android 的 HDR layer 处理中涉及的一些基础专业术语介绍

1、尼特 nit= cd/m² 亮度单位，人眼对发光体表面的发光或反射光强度实际感受的物理量
2、Transfer functions in imaging (用于电信号和图片、视频之间的转换)
1）electro-optical transfer function (EOTF) 将输入 RGB 信号 映射 到每个 RGB 通道的场景的预期相对显示亮度（以尼特为单位）
2） opto-electronic transfer function (OETF) 将场景的显示亮度映射回输出 RGB 颜色。
3）opto-optical transfer function (OOTF) applies a “rendering intent”. This can include tone mapping to display SDR content alongside HDR content, or any number of subjective transformations

维基百科中的定义 ：
The opto-electronic transfer function (OETF) is the transfer
function having the scene light as input and converting into the
picture or video signal as output. This is typically done within a
camera.[1]

The electro-optical transfer function (EOTF) is the
transfer function having the picture or video signal as input and
converting it into the linear light output of the display.[1] This is
done within the display device.

The opto-optical transfer function
(OOTF) is the transfer function having the scene light as input and
the displayed light as output. The OOTF is the result of the OETF and
the EOTF and is usually non-linear.[1]

3、white point （不同场景下描述白色，用于颜色校准）
如果一个物体的颜色是在一种光源下记录的，那么只要给定两个光源的白点，就可以估计该物体在另一种光源下的颜色。
4、bit depth (或Color depth) （是用于表示单个像素颜色的位数，或者是用于单个像素的每个颜色分量的位数）例如RGBA8888
5、 Tone mapping
色调映射是一种用于图像处理和计算机图形学的技术，用于将一组颜色映射到另一组颜色，以在动态范围更有限的介质中近似高动态范围图像的外观。
