I have kept my interest in movies since 7th grade. From then on, I watched one movie per week. Recently there is a hot debate over Tiny Times. While it is criticized for being to materialism, many people support Guo Jingmin, the director of the movie, as well as a group of stars cast this movie. According to Guo, it costs the movie millions of yuan to buy the clothing during the show. It also bought or borrowed the biggest diamond ring.

I have watched the first episode one year before in the theater and there were still some plots inside. After one month followed the second episode. Nothing attractive basically came out this time and it was more than boring. Now the latest episode is released and it become even worse. The movie itself is but trying to care about the box and gain a reputation. Guo is not shooting a movie, indeed. Despite the trash Guo made, I think he is really good at marketing. With such a disappointing movie, he can still gain a box over 400 million Yuan. His ways to advertise is successful by throwing a huge amount of money into channels, websites, and subway stations. With his book Tiny Times published long before, he easily attracted teenagers to watch the movie. No matter how the movie performs, his advertising strategy is pretty good.
