Nearsightedness has increased rapidly among school children.

研究者认为电脑和流行的游戏机是导致学生近视的罪魁祸首。
Researchers believe computers and popular video-game devices may be partly to blame.

在车上打游戏，看电视和用电脑时间过长，都对孩子们的视力有害。
Using video-games on public transport and spending too much time in front of televisions and computers are harmful to children’s eyesight.

第二个原因是父母强迫孩子们学习时间过长。
The second reason is that parents force them to study for long periods of time.

近视给人们带来很多不便，甚至使生活一团糟。
Being nearsighted is inconvenient and terrible.

近视的人不能做剧烈运动，因为在运动中可能打碎眼镜。
Nearsighted people can not do some strenuous exercises, for they may break their glasses in sports.

他们只能坐在观众席上，观看那些充满活力的朋友快乐的玩着。
They can only sit in the audience and watch their energetic friends playing happily.

此外，在洗脸或者脱衣服之前，他们需要摘下眼镜。
Besides, they need to take their glasses off before they wass their face or take off their clothes.
