1. Elisa: Second Year Student
   I have a hectic schedule, and I don’t always have time to eat all three meals at the dining centers. I bought a few easy breakfast items from the grocery store, so I usually only eat lunch and dinner there. I chose the Major Flex Plan, and I can always add more money if I need to.

The important Tips

1. Students with a Flex Plan for the fall semester will automatically be assigned and billed for the same dining plan for the spring semester. 2. Students using Dining Dollars receive a 5 percent discount on all purchases and don’t pay sales tax. Employees do not receive a discount. Deposits can be made in increments of $15 to $1,400 and remain on your account for as long as you’re a student at Virginia Tech.
