Abstract:With the increasing complexity of urban traffic system, the demand of vehicle positioning accuracy has been increasing. GPS (Global Navigation Satellite System) technology was used in the previous vehicle navigation system for vehicle location. While in the modern metropolis, the positioning accuracy was greatly reduced because of the shelter of trees, overpasses, buildings, which will often lead to GPS signal unlock and multipath effects, etc. Dead reckoning is a strong complementarity of the GPS technology due to the good independence. This paper mainly introduces DR algorithm of vehicle GPS/DR integrated navigation system.
