3. Transferring Data From HPC Infrastructures
   (use this command on the local machine, not on the HPC)

rsync -ave ssh -hPz czhao4@superior-login1.research.mtu.edu:/pexue6/chuyan/glerl/test_run01/output/superior_0001.nc /Users/chuyanzhao/Desktop/output

• If ${SUPERIOR1} is unavailable, please use ${SUPERIOR2} and vice versa.
• The password is same as MTU.

4. Researchers are strongly encouraged to use less, more, grep, etc. to analyze (larger) files. Using vi (or vim) in such cases can use a large percentage of CPU and memory, and in turn, can result in a violation.
